Arsenal FC has something to celebrate after 9yrs of drought.

Arsenal recovered from going two goals down in the opening eight minutes to beat Hull City 3-2 after extra time in the FA Cup final and win their first trophy for nine years at Wembley some few minutes ago
Despite dominating possession for long periods Arsenal had to wait until the 71st minute before Laurent Koscielny equalised when he turned and scored from close range after Hull failed to clear a corner.
the day was shaping up as an embarrassing one for Arsenal at Wembley Stadium, when Hull scored twice in the first eight minutes. Hull has never won a major trophy in its 110-year history.

But after goals from James Chester and Curtis Davies, Santi Cazorla began Arsenal's comeback in the 17th minute by scoring directly from a free kick.

The winner came when Ramsey scored with the outside of his right foot to give Arsenal their 11th FA Cup win, equalling the all-time record held by Manchester United. .  Congratulations to all Aresenal fans.

Kim Kardashian weds again.

No 3!

Kim has been married for three years and three months in the past fourteen (14) years and come Saturday 24th of May 2014, she will be doing it for the third (3rd) time, but this time with a street boy with credibilities. (Kanye West)  She was married to music producer Damon Thomas from 2000 to 2003 and spent 72 days married to professional basketball player Kris Humphries in 2011.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will get married at Florence's 16th Century Belvedere Fort in Italy on 24 May.

According to a spokeswoman at the mayor's office, the couple rented the villa for 300,000 euros (£244,000).

A Protestant minister will preside over the ceremony, said Elisa Di Lupo.

The 36-year-old rapper proposed to the reality star on her 33rd birthday in October 2013, renting out San Francisco baseball ground AT&T Park for the occasion.

This is the first marriage for Kanye West, who was previously engaged to designer Alexis Phifer.

It will be the third trip down the aisle for 33-year-old Kardashian.

The couple had reportedly been planning a wedding ceremony in Paris but that's unlikely as anyone wanting to get married there has to be resident in the French capital for four weeks before authorities will grant a marriage licence... this wishing them a blissful marriage. Congratulations Kim!

Stand up for the Champions!!!!!!

Atletico Madrid won La Liga for the first time since 1996 by securing a draw in a pulsating match at Barcelona.
Striker Diego Costa went off injured for Atletico early on and Barcelona capitalised as Alexis Sanchez smashed in a superb opener.
Atletico came out strong in the second half as David Villa hit the post before Diego Godin headed in the equaliser.
Barcelona would have won the title with a win and Dani Alves went close with a fierce drive, but Atletico held on.
The draw meant Atletico finished first with 90 points, three ahead of Barcelona.

Arsenal v Hull City, Atletico v FC Barcelona, Bayern v Dortmund, while Manchester City are celebrating....

Nine years without trophy is taking its toll. Arsenal fans are frustrated and critics are flourishing. Arsene Wenger has a chance to end that trophy drought. He will have to win this game against Hull, against whom they have established a dominance.
Last time Arsenal met Hull in the KC stadium where they won 3-0, with Lucas Podolski getting a brace and Aaron Ramsey scoring once.

This is the exact team that beat Barcelona 1-0 in the Champions League semi-final second leg, So not all is lost for Atletico. They push forward and Koke tries to bend one to the back post, but it's too high and Pinto comes out to claim the ball.

English premiership champions..... Putting a smile back on the faces of players and fans with a lovely brand of attacking football, his attentive and rounded approach rubbed off positively on the team. If he can resist the temptation to make wholesale changes this summer, I can only see his Man City side becoming even more cohesive next term.

"This is also about supremacy in Germany, it's about showing our rivals," said Germany star Mueller as Bayern prepare to play Dortmund for the fourth and final time this season with Borussia leading the current 'Der Klassiker' series two wins to Munich's one.
Mueller insists Bayern start as favourites at Berlin's Olympic Stadium, but after Borussia have won eight of their final 10 matches this season, "the current trend (of results) has brought Dortmund a step closer to us".
"We can't allow ourselves to give away reckless turnovers. If we do, Dortmund will be just waiting to counter-attack us."
Bayern are bidding to win the domestic double for the tenth time, having already secured the Bundesliga title in March with a record seven games to spare.
In contrast, Dortmund are chasing their fourth cup final victory having finished their league campaign second to their Bavarian rivals in the table.

A security summit in Paris about Nigeria and Boko Haram agreed some few minutes ago on "a plan of action" for countries to share intelligence and surveillance "in order to find those young girls," said French President François Hollande, who's hosting the summit. He was referring to how Boko Haram has kidnapped nearly 300 girls in Nigeria.
The summit has led partnering countries "to take stronger measures to eradicate" the extremist Islam group accused of abducting nearly 300 girls in Nigeria, Cameroon President Paul Biya said at the summit. "We're here to declare war on Boko Haram."

As the search for the girls continues, regional leaders are meeting in Paris to discuss the militant group's escalating threat to the region.

Is Governor Kashim Shettima the Devils Advocate?

Kashim Shettima wants the FG to release Aminu Ogwuche the suspected mastermind of the Nyanya bomb blast and others in exchange for the Chibok girls?

Deal with Devil if it means getting back the kidnapped girls- kashim shettima
The governor of  Borno State, where nearly 300 schoolgirls were kidnapped, told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour on Thursday that the government should negotiate with Boko Haram – make a deal “with the devil” – if it means bringing the girls back.

He also said “The issue of not negotiating with the terrorists is out of the question,” Kashim Shettima said. “If it means talking to the devil, it mean the devil can come down, we can get back our girls.”

Boko Haram, the group that kidnapped the girls, “are a bunch of raving lunatics,” Shettima said.

A month has passed since the girls were kidnapped, and the Nigerian government has been accused of not acting swiftly or efficiently enough to protect villages in the region threatened by Boko Haram

The Federal Government has said 'NO' to a swap with  Boko Haram but, the Governor of Borno state wants the President Goodluck Ebere Jonathan's government to Negotiate with the "Devil"...

Is Shettima now  the devils advocate? Was Shettima warned by the West African Examination Council (WAEC) before the kidnapping? what were his reason(s) for not heeding the warning? ... Should the Federal Government swap   Aminu Ogwuche and co.for the Chibok girls?

This man must be insane. How can he suggest that government should (beg) negotiate with blood hungry wolves that have earlier warned that they don't

accept dialogue with government which the sect described as infidels.

This man and their cabals must be trying to eat from this whole issue.

The terrorists should be tracked down and and the girls freed safely. All these people talking about negotiations with terrorists should undergo

psychological fitness test and be investigated and there should be no sacred cow.

The international community should not be distracted by this senseless statements of the Borno governor and their cabals.

I am not a politician but let's not forget that most Nigerian Presidents were from the Northern Nigeria. Most of them ruled during the Nigerian oil boom.

What legacies did they leave? So Northern Nigeria just became impoverished? Federal revenue is shared among states does it mean Northern Nigeria do

not get their own share? South eastern Nigeria fought a civil war and were almost exterminated by Northerners, lost their lives and properties before,

during and after the civil war. Why is Shettima talking of poverty in the North Eastern Nigeria? His people were offered free nomadic education when my

family paid heavily for my education .What did they do with it? Mr. Shettima, how many times have your people destroyed lives and property of Igbos living

in your part of country for no just cause? Now you are complaining of poverty. What disaster have your people gone through? ISLAM, CULTURE AND POLIGAMY ARE YOUR PROBLEMS. TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR LIFE STYLES! YOUR PEOPLE HAVE NOT GONE THROUGH HALF THE THINGS IGBOS HAVE GONE

THROUGH IN NIGERIA AND YOU KNOW IT. FOR STARTERS, EMANCIPATE YOUR WOMEN.IT TAKES A WOMAN TO BUILD A COMMUINTY.
